Yoga - For Health, Well-being, Balance and Harmony
All classes cater to varying standards, this being the nature of yoga... to work within your own limitations. Extending the boundaries but never straining. I welcome beginners at any time.
My introduction to yoga was in the early seventies at the Gita School of Yoga where I attended classes as a student of hatha yoga and philosophy, then later undertook the teacher training course with Margrit Segesman. I was an administrator and teacher at the school until 1985 when I began teaching independently in Brighton where my classes are currently held.
In recent years I have been inspired by the teachings of TKV Desikachar.
I believe in the long term benefits of a yoga practice, yoga relaxation and the integration of yoga philosophy into ones daily life.
My teaching incorporates Asana practice, relaxation, chanting, meditation and philosophy.
